@smperris: No worries! If you use Firefox there's a neat little extension called 'User Agent Switcher'. With that it's possible to fool Planet 3 into thining that you have a Nokia N73 and allowing you to sign up for X-Series over your handset! As I said there's all kinds of ways.
-
@smperris: I signed up for X-Series the first day it was released in Australia; I guess the call centre staff was still a little bit confused.
But there are other ways. Do you use Skype? If you want to hit me up on there. I can walk you through or get you the info on some ressources. My Skype name is alienemann .
I have commented on this issue several times on the X-Series blog, for instance here: http://xseries.typepad.com/xseries/2007/06/xseries_answers.html

@rubin: Here's one http://tinyurl.com/37gpbw . There were other links to this; one picture with a guy that had the red X beside the Bluetooth icon disappearing whe his IPod was charged.

@rubin: There were those screenshots floating around yesterday. People had received their iPod touch without an OS and only diagnostic mode was showing which revealed that there can very well be a Bluetooth module inside...hang on a minute ..I'll find the link.
